Cast: Kathie Featherston, Kathryn Newton, Stephen Dunham

from IMDB

Wow, another one of them activites, CJ and I watched this last night expecting that it would scare us. We were caught between choosing to watch either this or Rigodon, and we chose this. It was a wrong move bros!

It was cool in some scenes where a basic technology can detect unseen movement, you have to watch to know what it is. But that's all there is to it. I don't know what to say anymore. It's a wait-for-a-dvd movie. Don't bother watching it on the theaters. If you didn't like the 3rd sequel, you will hate this. The second one is even better that this movie. Expect what you already expect. Nothing new here move along, move along.

Superbly lame, what a waste of money, why do a sequel if it's exactly the same as it's predecessor? I give them an A for effort and that's it. I'm speechless bla-bla-bla lame. But if you have nothing to watch either it's worth a try, kill some time go ahead. =) Also if you want to follow the story, I think that's the only reason you have to watch this.

what a lame review, it's a lame movie anyway. If you disagree with me, I'm sorry it's just one man's point of view.

Thank you for reading! Hope you find this helpful??

007 Skyrim review, I mean Skyfall review

143 min - Action, Adventure, Crime

Director: Sam Mendes

Cast: Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Naomi Harris, Judi Dench, Berenice Marlohe

Synopsis: Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

From IMDB

With 'staches on let's begin! Firstly let me just tell you a little story. We (yes it's Cj again with me) watched this last night at the last full show. Everything's going well when suddenly the film stopped! It stopped for about 5 minutes! Everybody's shouting stuff about it then the lights went on, that just means the wait is gonna be longer. It's another 5 minutes when it finally resumed and man it went to the middle of the movie! Everybody's yelling "REWIND"! Damn that spoiled the night. But fortunately it was not  that far in the story though, and they rewound the movie to where it left off.

Moving on to the movie, it started  with an action filled scene revealing the three main characters. I get the feel of the classic bond film, classic bond moves. In my opinion, if you're looking for an action movie the likes of Bourne Legacy, you wouldn't find it in this movie. Why? Because not half of the movie is action packed, there's more talking (not that I don't like conversations) than the action. You should expect that from a Bond film I suppose. But of course when there's action going on, it was filmed beautifully like a Bond girl!

I don't know if there's supposed to be 2 bond girls, or the other one is not a bond girl.. or the other one. I don't know nyahaha. What I'm a little surprised about is the "ACTING" particularly portrayed by Berenice Marlohe, one of the bond girls. I don't know much about her though but thanks to the internet! It's not because of her hot body, but there's this one particular scene where her acting was awesome! You'll know what I'm talking about when you watch the movie. Truth be told she didn't get much exposure though.

Lastly, Skyfall gets in touch with the roots of James Bond. You'll see the classic gadgets, classic car, and where he lived in the past. He reminded me of Bruce Wayne actually. For the fans of James Bond (who actually knows the whole story unlike me) this one's for you! You'll definitely enjoy the film! But for the not so fans of Bond, it's still a good film to watch in the big screen. And if you're not the type who listens to conversations on stories, you might just want to wait for the DVD to be released.

Watchout for some "easter eggs" too! Don't cheat and search the net ok!?

The Kick, can't get enough of them kicks

Just wondering, do you have 'staches on? 'cause you need that when you read this awesomely worthless reviews. If you don't know what I'm talking about read my first post here

115 min - Action

Director: Prachya Pinkaew

Cast: Jae-hyeon Jo, Ji-won Ye, Tae-joo,
Kyung-suk Kim, Jeeja Yanin

Synopsis: A Korean family of taekwondo experts move to thailand, where they set up a gym.

from IMDB

Now let's get on with this! The Kick, I watched this a while ago with my girlfriend CJ (told you I'd be with her in a lot of my posts! And it's our monthsary today!). They started off the movie with a little back story, which I think could have been better if they put it at the middle of the movie, and add a little some some or whatever to it's relevance. But that's just up to anyone that's just my "awesome opinion" (again with the Dr. Evil).

What's great about this movie is the combination of the cast. The whole family are Taekwondo practitioners in real life and they put it to the screen really hard! I mean, what do you expect from a movie made by Prachya Pinkaew who brought you brutal action movies! As expected fight scenes are real. as real as it could get! As usual they put the BTS footage at the end you'll see what I mean by real.

As the action gets tougher, the story gets a little too cheesy. Yes, I said Cheese, Omelette-du-fro- getting back to the topic at hand, I get a feel of a classical Filipino comedy movie! You'll know what I mean when you watch it. The only thing that's missing is Sing-along part.

So what's the bottomline? This movie is for martial art lovers and for the fans of each of the cast members as a martial artist. You might not know who they are as actors but for their fans this was hell a good movie. The only famous actor here is Jeeja Yanin, watchout for her she makes takwondo look bad. But just a little bit.

I almost slept in parts where nothing is happening but just 'cause I was very sleepy. If you want to get that rush from seeing spinning  kicks, 540s, 720s, 900s, etc then this is your fix! They made it look easy as in like sitting-in-front-of-the-computer easy!

That's it! Another review from caloyreviews, hope this helps!

Wreck it Ralph just like Toy story?

Whoa, this is the first entry to our movie review blog! Let's get ready to rumble!!!

108 min - animation, comedy, family

Director: Rich Moore

Cast: John C. Reilly, Jack Mcbrayer, Jane Lynch

Synopsis: A video game villain wants to be a hero and sets out to fulfill his dream, but his quest brings havoc to the whole arcade where he lives.
from IMDB

Wreck it Ralph Just like Toy Story? There I just said the title of the post but is it really the same? My girlfriend Cj (and you'll be seeing me alot with CJ) and I watched this last friday and from the beginning it already amazed us, why? Remember those short stories when you watch a Disney Animated Film in the theatre before it starts? The short paired with Wreck-It-Ralph was another masterpiece! I won't tell you the title, you'll have to see it for yourselves.

In this movie, Disney again takes us on a roller coaster ride of animation perfection (geek) plus video games? Really!? Come on! You'll see lots of familiar faces and I mean a lot! If you're one of the people who played video games from 80's to present, I'm sure you can name all of them! I was like, hey that's ***** and that's ***** throughout the scenes.

You wouldn't expect the story as it was shown on the trailers. It was like an entirely different film with Wreck it Ralph's trailer in it. Not only do you see video games in it, you will also see lots of candy from the old days! What a great combination that is. The cast did a great job on the voices of the characters. Watch out for Jane Lynch's character, just see for yourselves. Her voice was perfect for that character.

So why did I say it was just like Toy Story? It's because it brings us back to those childhood memories all over again where you play a whole day of video games, finish hard levels of gameplay, cheat codes cause it's just freakingly impossible to advance. They really made it look like the characters that you play have their own personal emotions.

Now what? Watch it on the theaters! Well worth the money! If you're gonna watch it, be early! Don't miss the short in the beginning! CJ and I enjoyed the film all throughout and I hope you do too.
